Safety

At Zahner & Associates, the highest expectations are placed on safety and training programs for our staff. With the help of our safety manager, Alex Armbruster, each staff member completes new training and refresher courses yearly. We stay up to date on the training needed to meet our clients certification needs. Along with training for certification we also conduct frequent safety meeting and toolbox talks to stay on top of any safety concerns. To ensure everyone is using the safest methods and utilizing their knowledge acquired, we also provide the following:

• All of our field crew complete yearly MSHA 48 training. Which allow us on mine sites with underground operations. All team members are Part B certified. Six of those team members are Part A certified, which allows them underground at mine sites.
• All employees working around power plants, power lines, and substations have completed special power-safe training courses. 
• Our crews have completed training requirements to be certified in CPR and First Aid and complete yearly sexual harassment training. 
• All field crew members are OSHA 10 certified.
