Dan Fritsche, of Columbia Construction, contacted Zahner & Associates, Inc. to utilize our laser scanning capabilities in order to provide an as built for an existing building site. The use of laser scanning allows us to detail piping, HVAC, existing steel, etc. The information provided allowed them to foresee complications in and outside of the building and fabricate their retrofit in a timely manner.

Having surveyed the existing conditions with laser scanning and delivering an as built, Columbia Construction could move forward with the execution of their retrofit. Utilizing the existing control from the original survey we were able to lay out their design without conflict.
