3D Scanning & Printing for Facility Engineering
Laser Scanning & 3D Printing – Barry Decker, PMP, Project Engineer, asked Zahner and Associates to perform laser scanning services of a facility that would allow him to detail engineer some equipment replacement. Hear what he had to say: “The Zahner team understood exactly what I needed, walked me through the capabilities of their registration and rendering software (also a very powerful modeling tool for piping) and provided me with the point clouds I needed to work with. I was impressed at the ease of data transfer and point cloud manipulation (even with AutoCAD 2013)… and then they decided to model the structure and print it!”
